What's included in the starter kit?

We've built a kit designed to give you a perfect shave, even if it's your first time. It includes

Are your products vegan?

All of our products are vegan. All products are sourced from purely vegan sources and never tested on animals.

How do I recycle my blades?

At Jill, sustainability is a part of our ethos and in our DNA! One of the main factors we took into consideration when we developed our razor wand, was how to solve the disposable razor problem. Here's our simple 3 step system to safely dispose your Jill blades!

Step 1: Remove metal blade with pull tab.

The pull tab is located on the side of the blade. Be careful here not to cut yourself as you pull out the blade, you may want to wear gloves if it appears to be stuck in tightly.

Step 2: Recycle plastic piece.
Simply recycle the plastic parts of the blade :)

Step 3: Insert metal piece into a safe container, and recycle/follow local guidelines for disposing sharp metal objects.
This is where things can get a bit confusing, make sure to check your local guidelines for how to properly dispose sharp objects as this varies depending on country/state of residence. Typically they require to put into a safe, labelled container (such as a metal tin), and either recycle or drop off at an institution.

Where do you ship?

We ship almost everywhere in the world! Duties and taxes will be charged at checkout based on location.

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping is $2 in the United States.

If you live elsewhere in the world, your shipping charges will also be calculated at checkout.

Expedited and express shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.

Do I need to pay duties?

If you live in the United States, you will not be charged duties.

If you reside internationally, you may be charged additional duties and taxes. These will be charged at checkout and there will be no surprise charges afterwards.

When will I receive my order?

We only offer standard shipping. Please remember that your order will take time to process before it ships.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

Yes! If your address is automatically found at checkout you will have no problems. If you are concerned about this at all please contact hello@tryjill.com for assistance.

What is my order status?

We will email you at every step of the process, from purchase to post-delivery. You will receive an email confirmation of your order, a notification when your order is being prepared for shipping, a notification with tracking information when your order ships, and a check-in email after your purchase has been delivered to ensure you are happy with your Jill order. If you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to contact us at hello@tryjill.com.

How do I track my order?

Your tracking number and information will all be available in your email. If you are having trouble finding this information, please check your spam folder or contact hello@tryjill.com.

Can I cancel my order?

Your purchase begins its journey to you as soon as you complete the checkout process. We unfortunately do not have a set cancellation window. Once an order has shipped it cannot be cancelled. While you may have a few days before your order ships to cancel, after this we cannot reverse the order.

If you wish to make changes to your order, please contact us via phone or at hello@tryjill.com. Our team will do our best to accommodate your request.


What are the details of the 60-day glow guarantee?

We offer complete refunds on starter kits for the first 60 days or before your first subscription charge, whatever comes first.
All Refill and or Magic Wipe Shipments cannot be returned or refunded after they have been processed and in transit.
If you receive your product/blades damaged in any way shape or form you will be given a direct replacement or a refund. Please contact support for any inquiries here and we will do our very best to help!

What is your return policy for all other items?

We cannot accept returns for any refill products as they cannot be resold due to risk of contamination. If you have any questions if your product is eligible for return, please email hello@tryjill.com.


How often should I shave?

This can vary per person, however our suggestion is to shave every other week or as needed based on your natural hair growth/frequency of makeup application.

Making this a regular part of your skincare routine is important so that you can get all the benefits face shaving offers, such as radiant skin, collagen production and improved product penetration!
Maintaining glowy skin requires consistency rather than one-off solutions, shaving regularly enhances the effects of your entire routine. Our monthly shave plan sends you 2 new shave sets AND 2 Magic Wipes every month so you can shave with new blades every other weeks without any issues.

How do I use the 2 different blade sizes?

The petite blade should be used for eyebrows and upper lip, or anywhere hard to reach. Whereas the wide blade was designed for the larger parts of your face.

I have acne, should I shave my face?

Acne is very unique to every individual. You should never shave directly over open acne as that is likely to spread bacteria and to cause inflammation. Shaving around acne is our best suggestion, or completely avoiding areas with more acne. This is not to say that you should not shave overall, it can be beneficial to help fight your acne scars as well as prevent new acne from forming due to the exfoliation/enhancement of other products. We recommend you simply do a patch test on a part of your face and see the results for yourself.

Will my hair grow back thicker, faster or darker?

Shaving hair doesn't change its thickness, color or rate of growth. A razor cannot change or alter your natural keratin cells, thus it would be impossible for shaving to have an effect on this.

We advise to shave with the direction of your hair growth however if you accidentally do not you may give the hair a blunt tip. The tip might feel coarse or "stubbly" for a time as it grows out. During this phase, the hair might be more noticeable and perhaps appear darker or thicker — but it's not.

There are unique particular cases where hormonal imbalances and genetic factors may make hair coarser as you age, however this is NOT a result of facial shaving. For more information on this check out our shave science page.


How do I manage (skip, pause or cancel) your subscription?

Create an account with us using the link below, and head over to your account dashboard. You will be able to manage your subscription there, whether you’d like to skip, pause or cancel.

How do I reset my password?

Once you have placed an order, you should have received a link to create an account. An account is not automatically created after you purchase a starter kit and/or the subscription. You can head to the link below to create your account. You will need to create an account using the same email as you used to checkout. tryjill.com/account/login If you have used a phone number to checkout or have any other issues, please contact our support team at hello@tryjill.com.

How do I update the payment method on my subscription?

Login to your account and head over to your account dashboard. You will then be able to click on ‘Manage Subscription’. Afterwards head to ‘Billing Information’ and edit your payment details.

When is my shipment date?

You can view this information in your subscription login portal. Simply login to your account, view your subscription and you will be able to view your ship date. Additionally you can contact hello@tryjill.com. to get this information.
